Alexey relocated to New York City from Siberia, Russia in 2005. Gifted with an artistic eye for photography, he has honed his skills working with various Canon cameras, as well as Adobe Photoshop. Alexey is an apprentice and lover of life and finds inspiration and wonder in all that it encompasses. Thus, he is a fervent and creative photographer, who finds beauty and limitless and unique possibilities in whatever subject he is photographing. While he is artistically experienced in this art form, he is humble, always learning, and open to collaborating with you in achieving the vision for your photographs.
One of his great passions is to photograph individuals who are "differently-abled." It gives him enormous satisfaction to bring out the person's radiance and light, and to empower them and promote their personal detachment from the society-given label of "disabled." Alexey strongly believes in selfless service and giving back to the community. As such, he is the Co-Founder of a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization in New York City, Blissful Bedrooms, which serves young individuals with disabilities. All of the photography/graphic design/logos on the Blissful Bedrooms website were created by Alexey. Please visit Blissfulbedrooms.org to learn more. In fact, 10% of all commissions from photography assignments will be donated directly to Blissful Bedrooms, and will be used to enhance the lives of young individuals with disabilities.
